Hi Marie. My posts have been placed on your board without problem since we got notification from MSN about them closing. I have started posting here because most of my imaging is now being done on computer. I plan on using this board as my primary site. Easier for me. Good to see you here. We do NOT want to lose contact.
June continues to improve. Had to scold her a bit today because she was not using her oxygen as directed by the doctor. She is anemic and has COPD...two very good reasons to be using supplemental oxygen. Once I explained it all to her she put the cannula back in her nose. I hope she uses it regularly. It will not be a forever thing. Once her anemia is corrected she should be able to do without oxygen supplement at least during the daytime. All this takes time. She is impatient to be free of the cannula. Part of her impatience and irritability is due to low oxygen. If she wears it like she is supposed to, things will improve.
