Testing

The most crucial stage in development involves testing. In short, if you want to make sure your content works on our platform, you should test it on a working receiver connected to our service. In addition to this important step, here are some other things to watch out for when testing.

1. Write all HTML code and test the layout as well as all images in the MSN TV Viewer to make sure that all elements are positioned properly.
2. Test colors using our Color Picker to help identify colors that will work.
3. Test each section of JavaScript as you go to make sure it works with our platform (this can be a big time saver).
4. Test streaming media on an actual box connected to our service and make sure the codec is supported by our platform.
5. Test all flash elements.
6. Test cookies.
7. Test cascading style sheets to make sure they are within specifications.
8. Test all links.
